accesso moves into the healthcare market.
John Harrington of Proactive Investors shared news of accesso’s first healthcare partnership today. The Henry Ford Health System signed a long-term agreement to use accesso’s TE2 solution to streamline and personalize the patient experience throughout its six hospitals.
The non-profit healthcare organization will begin a pilot program in autumn 2018 and fully implement the technology in conjunction with the grand opening of their Brigitte Harris Cancer Pavilion in 2020. Both patients and caregivers will have access to the technology, and Henry Ford will make the standardization available to other health systems throughout the United States.
“This is unlike anything we’ve seen before in healthcare,” said Henry Ford Cancer Institute medical director, Steven Kalkanis. “A cancer diagnosis and everything that comes with it can cause an unspeakable amount of stress for patients and families. A solution of this magnitude has the unparalleled potential to ease that burden and we are thrilled to join with Accesso to create an improved experience for our patients.”
